Do I need any experience to get started?

None at all. Everything at Paint Pour Academy is built for beginners first, including people who have never picked up a paintbrush before. We walk through everything step by step, and there’s no such thing as a silly question here.

If you’ve got some experience already, that’s great too. A lot of our students use our courses to sharpen specific techniques or finally understand the “why” behind something they’ve been doing by feel.

What supplies do I need before I start?

Each course lists the specific supplies you’ll need for that project, so you’ll always know exactly what to grab before you start. In general, acrylic pouring uses things like acrylic paint, pouring medium, canvases, and some basic household items you probably already have on hand.

When does the course start and finish?

All of our courses are self-paced. Read through them whenever it works for you, then take what you’ve learned and create your masterpiece anytime after that.

What’s the difference between the 30-Day Challenge and the Academy Membership?

The 30-Day Challenge is your starting point — a structured, day-by-day program that walks you through the fundamentals of acrylic pouring from your very first pour to a finished piece you’re proud of. It’s designed to be completed once, at your own pace, over 30 days.

The Academy Membership is for after that. It’s ongoing access to the full course library, including the Skills Labs, new content as it’s added, and the wider Paint Pour Academy community. Think of the Challenge as learning the basics, and the Membership as where you keep growing once you’ve got them down.

A lot of our members start with the Challenge, then join the Academy once they’re ready for more.

Where are my purchases?

To find your courses and downloads, log in from the My Account page — look for the orange person icon at the top of the site (top right on desktop, top of the page on mobile).

Once you’re logged in, you’ll see everything you have access to. Your 30-Day Challenge, Resin Success Bundle, or Academy Membership will show up first. If you’ve purchased individual courses too, just scroll down a bit — they’re all listed there. Click any course title to jump right in.

How soon can I access my content once I purchase? How long will I have access?

As soon as your payment goes through, you’re in. It usually takes just a few seconds.

Unless we say otherwise, you’ll have lifetime access to anything you purchase. As long as Paint Pour Academy is around, your content is too. We’re also hosted on a service with a 99% uptime guarantee, so the site should almost never go down. And if the internet itself ever breaks? Honestly, that’s a good excuse to step away from the screen and go paint something. 😀

I’m having trouble logging in — what should I do?

First, make sure you’re using the same email address you used at checkout. That’s the most common thing that trips people up.

If you’re still stuck, look for a “Lost your password?” link on the login page to reset it. And if that doesn’t do the trick either, just send us an email and we’ll get you back in.

What’s the refund policy?

We don’t offer refunds, since our courses are digital products you get access to right away. If you’re on the fence about a purchase, just send us an email first and we’ll help you figure out if it’s the right fit.
