Stunning Acrylic Paint Pour Necklaces

Overview

  • Before you begin painting your necklaces, it is a good idea to prep the glass cabochons. Using the hot glue gun, adhere a cake pop stick (or any other stick) to the glass cabochon’s round front. Let the glue cool, and then place the stick in the Styrofoam block to hold it. Keep gluing the cake pop sticks to the glass cabochons until the block is full. Make sure you leave space around each one so you do not touch them.
  • Pick up one of the cake pop sticks and then dip the glass cabochon into the paint. Do not press down all the way to the paper or painting surface. Dip only far enough so that the flat edge of the glass cabochon is covered with paint.
  • Don’t be afraid to get creative! Dip the glass cabochon into the swirls, cells, swishes, and multi-colored areas…. experiment and have fun!
  • Place the painted glass cabochon into the Styrofoam block. Keep painting the remaining glass cabochons until finished.
  • Double-check that the glass cabochons are straight in the Styrofoam block, not at an angle. The paint will run off if they are not level.
  • Let Dry for 24-48 hours.
  • Enjoy your new jewelry!

Wood Heart Frames

Overview

  • The first step is to take out the heart cutout that is in the photo window. You will want to keep this cutout to use as a template for your photos when you are finished. Once the cutout is removed, make sure the metal prongs holding the cutout are pulled back against the frame. This will make it easier to paint the opening.
  • Mix your acrylic paint to a fluid consistency, and then pour over the wood frame using your FAVORITE acrylic paint pouring technique!
  • Let dry and seal with your favorite spray, varnish, or resin.
  • Enjoy your new masterpiece frame!

BEAUTIFUL Matching Vase and Canvas Set

Overview

  • Mix your acrylic paint to a fluid consistency, and then start layering the paint into an 8-ounce cup.
  • Place the vase upside down and set it on top of an 8-ounce plastic cup. Place the vase and the cup in the center of the canvas.
  • Start pouring the paint on the vase in any technique you decide, making sure you use the entire 8-ounce cup of paint. I like the Tree Ring technique because it creates rings of color that transform into lines of color when the vase has dried.
  • After you have poured all of the paint onto the vase, wait a few minutes for the paint to slow down. Once it has slowed, remove the vase and its cup holder from the canvas and set them aside. Now it is time to TILT the paint on the canvas.
  • Let dry and seal with your favorite spray, varnish, or resin.
  • Enjoy your new masterpiece set!
